Future of Crowdrender Part VII
Another week gone by, more progress towards our render farm software project being sustainably community funded. We've gone past half way of our target to meet our operational costs, which is awesome!
And, as the James and Jeremy tell in this video update, work is progressing on the development of the new system, which now has two components, the blender addon, and a new system we've called CRESS (Compute REsourceS System). CRESS provides an API and services for finding, synchronising and managing tasks on computers that are anywhere on earth.
