@James Thanks for the reply again. We're attempting to use this at work where we design products, import their models to blender and set-up basic scenes with a few panel lights to create a 'studio' look. Realistically quite a small scene in comparison to blender's normal use! The sync of the machine seems to be ok but disappears after 10-15 seconds and we have to restart blender to get it to come back. We have : Masters: Dell precision m4800, iMac 27" 5k. Slave: custom built PC, i7 7700k, gtx 1060 6GB 16Gb ram etc. Can't seem to get it to work on the iMac or the Dell

@James Thanks for that again. It doesn't seem to start rendering, once synced I press 'render still' and it stays on 0%

Thanks that makes sense! I think I was having a problem with the syncing but it wasn't saying sync_failed so I thought I wasn't understanding properly. One more question, how do I have 100% of the render on the slave machine? I only want network rendering so I can carry on using my master while a render is happening.
