Senior 3D Artist to work on human anatomical model
Located in Sydney, Australia, this is permanent full time position. A unique opportunity to work on a very high fidelity human model to be used in medical simulation.
On offer is the chance to work on a project that has potential to create a positive impact in health, a package of AU$100k as well as equity in the company, based on performance. Applicants willing to relocate to Australia will be considered. The company is also willing to negotiate working remotely, but only for Australian residents.
The human models are required to allow for realistic dissection, you should demonstrate experience with high fidelity models that can be deformed, cut and contain multiple layers, or models within models for simulating skin, muscle, bones and internal organs.
Some medical devices may also need creating, so you will also need to show you have worked on hard surface modelling projects. Any experience with modelling medical equipment, medical devices or medical procedures will be a serious advantage.
We stress that we're looking for an expert in creating both models and materials that are highly realistic. The software packages you use can be negotiated with the employer, but, the end result must be able to be imported into the Unity game engine. As the model will be rendered in real time, you should be able to demonstrate experience in optimising models for game engines.
