This sounds like you want to script running a render using Blender + Crowdrender is that correct?

@Marco Tripolini I am looking into this for you today. So far I think you might be best starting to script in the UI. Background mode has a few issues that I am trying to see if we can improve the code to get around.

Would be good to know if you are able to script in the UI for the time being?
