i didn't test the last version but what a great job ! again, beautifuly crafted and seems to work perfectly !
I have some questions/feature request (humbled one, just to know if you thought of it, or if they are in your roadmap ;) )
First of all, i use cgru afanasy when i have to setup a production ready network farm, a little harsh to deal with sometimes, but a very robust farm. When i compared it with CR (from your last video) i thought you have some really good features that it doesn't have, like the computer power repartition, cloud services, and simple (really simple) configuration, a breeze compared to it !
But CR lacks a few feature for being able to compet imho, first one being the queue !
I think it's really important to be able to just launch a "headless" render, monitor it and continue working when you are in animation production for example.
If Crowdrender had that, it could be a massive game changer about using it in company working on production !
In the same direction, is there any way of choosing gpu/cpu for a node ? I'm used to launch instances to do this, or configuring in a farm several render job manually, but it's a good way to improve render speed on animation jobs ! I saw the customisable tile size which are a huge improvement, a big thank you for that !!! :) But with a way to add a computer twice, one gpu node, one cpu node, for example, it would be perfect !
These are just thoughts about it, not at all advice or whatever ! hope it could be helpful for developping this great addon ! again thank for your work guys !
PS : and is there a way to use cloud with private machine ? Like i'm at work and launch a render using my home computer power ? It would be awesome !
