I know it sounds very Matrix but really. I don't see a start button. I'm experiencing this on Blender 2.8 Beta. I installed the addon give it my crowdrender login and thats it. And i also can't get it to work but i guess that is because i didn't Start the service. PS there is not something i need to do on the slave/node right? setting it in slave mode or anything?
